Well I know that I have not written for a while and that many of you have been waiting on the edge of your seats to know what I will post next. So I apologize to you for my delay in writing. School is going well but it is a lot of work and I have had to work a lot. I have some good news and some bad news. I shaved my mustache shortly after I started this blog. Seeing myself in the mirror was just horrific. The good news is that it is Movember so I had a reason to start again. So it is now day 15 in growing another mustache and it is past the teenage peach fuzz stage and is starting to look like I am trying to grow something and not like I just have not shaven in awhile.
For those of you who do not know what Movember is I will tell you right now. Movember is an awareness of men’s health especially prostate and testicular cancer. Like the pink ribbon for breast cancer, prostate and testicular cancer also has their little symbol and that is the mustache. I think that growing a mustache is an excellent way to raise awareness for men’s health.
Breast cancer is a terrible disease that afflicts many women and some men, changing their lives in many ways. Many things have been done in order to help with research to help with breast cancer prevention and treatment. I fully support the need to do so. Lately though there has been a trend to move away from the pink ribbon to less formal ways of voicing opinions about breast cancer. I am mostly talking about the “I love boobies” bracelets. I find those offensive and just plain stupid. 99% of the people wearing them are so doing not because of their support of fighting against breast cancer but because of the words on them and they love that they can have the words boobies displayed for the public to see. I feel that these bracelets are totally off the mark when it comes to supporting a good cause.
With all of the money that can be raised for a good cause like fighting breast cancer, there should also be put a greater emphases in prevention against heart disease which is the number one killer of the human race today. According to the national cancer institute there were more new cases of prostate cancer than there were for breast cancer in 2010. That being said there is a need for more support in general to fight against cancers specific to the male sex. So to show my support for fighting against prostate cancer and testicular cancer I am again trying to grow my mustache. And also here are some pictures of other manly mustaches.

Again I want to reinforce that I totally support fighting against breast cancer, and if so much support can be given to that cause then prostate and testicular cancer should get more support from the public. Adios, adieu, sayonara.
